Prof. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy welcomed the UK faculty and expressed his thanks for their commitment to teaching Newborn Life Support (NLS) course, to empowering the development of future local Vietnamese instructors and through this course supporting Vietnam to reduce neonatal mortality to meet the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. He highlighted the strength of our UK/Vietnam partnership and the importance of Newborn Life Support Scholarship scheme to ensure sustainability for this important life saving training.

We were all proud to witness the signing of the NLS scholarship agreement between the University, Newborns Vietnam and SSVN.
