Why is ‘Flourish’ a concert with a difference?
It is a night of exceptional music in the magnificent Saigon Opera House that is raising awareness that antibiotic resistance is the next global health crisis. Dame Sally Evans, England’s Chief Medical Officer, in her Ted Talk shared that in South East Asia, one young child or baby dies every five minutes because the antibiotics do not work.
The concert host, Nutri-San’s mission is to enable people, animals and our planet to flourish now and in the future. This is your chance to enjoy music brought to you by Bao Anh Nguyen, Artistic Director of the Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra, British composer and pianist, Simon Proctor, will be performing his ‘Queen Concerto’ – including the iconic ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, while acclaimed Vietnamese pianist Luu Duc Anh will perform Proctor’s ‘Bond Concerto’, bringing the themes associated with the famous 007 agent to Vietnam.
