After 40 weeks of intense study under the guidance of UK consultant neonatologists, doctors at the National OBGY Hospital, Hanoi, are just 21 days away from their final exams. The atmosphere is filled with concentration as they revise, determined to pass.
A key part of their training was the completion of Quality Improvement (QI) projects, crucial to their examination. These projects focus on practices that will significantly improve outcomes for mothers and newborns. One example is the use of antenatal steroids for mothers at risk of preterm delivery, as steroids accelerate fetal lung development, reducing the risk of newborn deaths and long-term health complications.
A huge congratulations to all the doctors for their dedication and hard work on these life-saving projects. The Newborns team is rooting for you as you approach your exams and will be there to cheer you at the finish line.
