Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support Us!

More Happy days! This is the second week of the Hanoi network training course at St Paul Hospital, for another group of doctors from the Dong Anh Hospital, Duc Giang Hospital, Soc Son Hospital, Gia Lam Hospital, Bac Thang Long Hospital. The course combines practical training with hands on teaching around the baby, how to set up breathing machines, how to carefully monitor and look for subtle changes, attention to detail is central to providing good care. Sharing UK expertise with online teaching adds richness and diversity and a chance to ask the UK professors lots of questions. The weeks course ends with the UK professor giving different scenarios for a baby’s condition and the young doctors setting out their approach. It is always my pleasure to present the St Paul Hospital/Newborns Vietnam certificates to trainees, special thank to Dr Giang, Head of the St Paul neonatal unit, Dr Nga our wonderful translator and the UK professors. And over tea and cake listen to the doctors’ feedback.
